About Me

Hello, my name is Elaine Lamb. The porcelain artwork you see on this page is a sample of the pieces I am currently producing.  Each is original, hand-built or wheel-thrown with black and white sgraffito designs accented with silk screen transfers and highlighted with colored glaze.

I use images and designs depicting the mood and feel of our built and natural environment, creating pieces that are lively and vibrant for entertaining as well as a treat to the eye for everyday use.

Each high quality piece is kiln fired to 2,200 degrees and is food, microwave and dishwasher safe.

I produce most of my work at my sky-lit studio in Medina, Ohio. I also have a studio in the mountains of Western N. Carolina near Penland School of Crafts.
